I Am An American, But...

...but I often feel like only part of me is here, while the other part is living in a realm of self-invented fantasy. I don't have any nasty habits; I kicked a few bad habits many years ago and so I need to keep my mind active. I don't want to drink tomorrow; I won't be buying lots of beer, I throw up when I drink so if someone were to make me drink I'd make sure I threw up all over them. I don't like drugs at all, I don't gamble, I'm not much into TV or sports or radio (I like Internet, though). I don't see anything wrong with half-living in this other realm of thought; it seems to keep me stable, and helps me look forward to the unknown, uncertain future.
